Cavs Face the Impossible
Well 1/2 of my NBA Finals came true. The Cleveland Cavaliers finally got over the hump in just their 2nd season in the playoffs, since the arrival of King James. Problem is, they are facing an elite veteran championship team in the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs have more firepower, better defense, better shooting and are just coached better overall.
Now the Cavs face the improbable and impossible. King James and his squad find themselves down 0-3 to the Spurs, with game 4 tonight in Cleveland. While it would be sad to see the Cavs get swept here, the Spurs more than likely can sense their 4th title is just 80-100 points away from their grasp. Expect the Spurs to come out determined. You would have to think that the Cavs may be already beaten mentally, and for Lebron to pull off 4 straight victories, would be something only miracles produce. Still, imagine if the Cavs had faced Dallas in this finals. Would they have pulled off the victory similar to D-Wade and the Heat last year? Will Lebron return to the Finals again..My guess is yes, and that eventually he will be wearing a ring and calling himself a champion. Only time will tell. Until then, we can watch tonight to see if the Cavs fold and the Spurs roll.
