Lebron as Bobby Brown 2007
Last night 22 year old Lebron James added yet another accolade to his career; Bobby Brown impersonator.
Lebron was 1/2 of the hosting team of the 2007 ESPY awards show on ESPN along with comedian/talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel. Other antics involving Lebron were a skit in which he was seen holding his new baby back stage. Kimmel encouraged Lebron to come out to show everyone the kid. Lebron ran out and dunked what appeared to be the baby through a basketball hoop set up on stage. There was also the "Lebrontourage" sketch, a claymation reality show where Lebron lived with a team of other athletes including Shaun White and Lance Armstrong.
The highlight of Lebron's hosting came when he did an all out tribute performance to Bobby Brown. The 6'8 NBA star came out dressed in the wig and vintage Bobby Brown attire and performed "My Prerogative". The singing left alot to be desired but the dance moves were impressive. No word on if Lebron will be cutting his own R&B album anytime in the near future.
Other bball highlights of the show were Shaq on stage to present telling audience member Greg Oden "I'll see you next season" and Jimmy Kimmel joking that "Kobe was here at the show and got halfway down the red carpet, but then was traded to another award show".
