Ron Artest - Rapper

Ron Artest hails from the Queensbridge area. I even remember his realness when he got drafted. He was doing the TNT NBA interview and gave shout outs to Mobb Deep and Nas. Now he's followed in their footsteps and has dropped an album, "My World" and has his own record label, Tru Warrier. I heard him say on Best Damn Sports Show Period, that he has a lyric dedicated to David Stern, saying Mr. Stern needs to understand the life some of the NBA players come from. Not sure how many copies Artest has sold yet, but yet another baller wanting to be a rapper. It seems easier for that to occur, than for a rapper to make the NBA these days.
