#24

We are witnessing one of the greatest players of all time during our generation, yes #24. He undoubtedly is on par or slightly above Mr. James in terms of his talent, ability to make big shots, win games, handle pressure and play smart basketball all around utilizing his teammates. Kobe has turned the Lakers into a solid contender out West, through unselfish play and improving his teammates around him.

I would have believed the Lakers would be any better than last year's team. I expected they'd be fighting with the elite of the West to barely make a playoff spot there. It still is possible, they happen to be gelling better than most teams out West right now and with #24 on the squad, its hard to lose games. He is returning from a knee surgery (we've seen many fail after this), but is seeming to be back in old form. Last night it was dropping 52 including a 30 point 3rd quarter. Alot of teams don't score 30 themselves in a quarter these days. Kobe can do it all, whether making shots, distributing the ball or making a smart basketball play to help his team win a game.

If you get a chance to get a ticket to see the Lakers play, hold onto it. I had my chance in LA, saw Kobe and his team dismantle the Bulls. Kobe doesn't miss a beat and he is loved in LA. He is most likely hated anywhere else he goes, but that is just the respect of opposing fans for one of the game's true greats.
