Throwdowns

Well the first week has come and gone now for the NBA and all on one night 2 monster throwdowns occurred. There was the slam pictured above by Carmelo on Kevin Garnett. And even more impressive, Lebron taking it straight at NBA big man Tim Duncan and posterizing him. Not a sight you see often at all. I consider dunking on guys like Zo, Shaq (if humanly possible), Mutombo, Yao, and Duncan to be feats of pure intensity. Not to discredit Andre Iguaduola dunking on Darko, but those 2 previously mentioned dunks were catastrophic in week 1.

I also want to point out one of my rapper/NBA comparisons. I was watching the Seattle Supersonics play, and can't help but point out how identical Rashard Lewis and rapper T.I. look.

If Rashard wasn't so tall, he could easily pull off a T.I. concert. But why he wanna go and do that?
