Around the league

A full slate of games Wednesday night. Some observances:

- It might have been too soon to praise the Bulls so much. The Magic seemed to be scoring at will down low on them. Dwight Howard was a monster as usual.

- There appears to be good things to come in NJ. The Nets had a nice win over the Raptors, but additions such as Marcus Williams, Mikey Moore and Nachbar showed that they may have finally added much needed depth.

- J Kidd recorded his 76th career triple double last night. He is now 2 behind Wilt Chamberlain for third on the all time list. Amazing.

- An exciting triple OT thriller had Isiah Thomas victorious in his coaching debut..Now just how many more W's can the Knicks pull?

- Lebron and crew did it again, defeating the Wizards in another close matchup.

- The Lakers are looking like they could bench Kobe all season and still make the playoffs.

- Adam Morrison hit the kind of rainbow buzzer beater he wished he would have had against UCLA.

- The refs aren't fooling around this year. Technical fouls are more frequent, as are palming violations. At least 3 players were tossed out of games last night for getting 2 techs.
