With three weeks to go before we hit the 2008 All-Star game in New Orleans, Adrian Wojnarowski, of Yahoo! Sports looks at midseason award winners for the NBA.

Most Valuable Player: Kobe Bryant (edges out Lebron)

Lease Valuable Player: Vince Carter

Rookie of the Year: Kevin Durant

Rookie Bust: Joakim Noah, Bulls

Coach of the Year: Byron Scott, Hornets (over Nate McMillan, Trailblazers)

Non-Coach of the Year: Pat Riley, Heat

Executive of the Year: Danny Ainge, Celtics

Executive Disaster of the Year: Isiah Thomas

I'd have to agree with most of the awards given above, but why the hatred for Vince Carter? It seems as if the media wants this guy to be Lebron and Kobe rolled into one. It's a bit tough to expect Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter to all excel and co-exist. Maybe the Kidd trade will free up Vince and RJ to perform even better. RJ is on a tear and may be an all-star this year, about time for him.
